BLACK OPS BROWSER MAP GUIDE.

This Black Ops browser map guide separates two in-page fan remakes from eight classic maps available at the original creator site. Choose the version you want before loading.

Black Ops, Call of Duty, and individual map names are trademarks of their respective owners. This independent guide provides links, not official game files.

ONE MORE
ROUND.

Black Ops browser play works differently from the original retail game: fan-built maps run on independent websites. Start with Kino or Moon here, follow the in-game controls and try to survive the waves. No launcher or installation is needed.

01

LET THE GAME LOAD

The game starts loading as soon as you open this page. Larger textures and map resources may take longer to become ready.

02

SELECT START GAME

Use the game's own menu above. Click inside the player if it asks to capture your mouse. Esc normally releases the pointer.

03

GO FULLSCREEN

For the most immersive experience, use the fullscreen control in the player bar. A desktop keyboard and mouse work best.

Answers about the browser editions and where the games come from.

01Can I play Black Ops Zombies in my browser?

You can try two independently created fan remakes, Kino der Toten and Moon, inside the player on this page. The separate ten-map Black Ops 1 fan port is available at its original creator’s site, where its engine can access the browser features it needs.

02Is this the complete original Black Ops 1 game?

No. These are unofficial, independently developed browser recreations and a separate fan-made port. They are not the original retail game, and BlackOps.today is not associated with Activision or Treyarch.

03Why do some maps open in another tab?

The original ten-map port at vel.gg needs shared memory and cross-origin isolation. Its game menu can appear within an iframe, but entering a map does not reliably work there. For those maps, we link directly to its creator instead of showing a non-working embedded game.

04Do I have to install anything?

No game installation is needed for these web versions. Loading large game resources can still take time. A modern desktop browser with hardware acceleration and a keyboard and mouse is recommended.

05Which Black Ops browser version should I try first?

Start with the Kino der Toten fan remake loaded at the top of this page. Its game menu appears inside the embedded player; wait for assets to load before selecting Start Game. The Moon remake is a separate project you can select below the game. If you need access to the other eight classic maps, open the original ten-map port on its creator’s website. Not all projects use the same engine or controls.

06Will it work on a phone?

You can view the page and select maps on a phone, but the fan-made games are designed mainly for desktop keyboard-and-mouse play. Mobile touch controls, performance, and full gameplay are not guaranteed.
